In this foundation course, students were exposed to use of various dry and wet media in accomplishing work on pencil-shading, line-and-pattern-work, colour-pencil and marker rendering, perspective drawing, still-life study, water-colour and acrylic painting, mixed media relief work, paper sculpture etc. They worked on varied subjects for these classwork such as manmade objects, human study, nature, landscape and architecture in realistic, semi-abstract and abstract forms.

 
 

Design Fundamentals - Final Course Work (TD16)

Final course work for this module is an ECO sculpture to be done as groupwork. This project is a collaboration with Singtel where various recycled materials are provided for students to use in making the sculptures.

Mixed Media Drawing & Rendering (Class: April - June 2012)

First Media Design School

In this foundation module, students are required to render a set of 2 illustrations as posters using mixed media such as gouache, colour pencils, markers and/or felt pens. Main theme given as 'Events/Happenings at Fort Canning Park'.

2D Art Fundamentals: Final Assignment (T07 VSC/Feb 2012)

Final assignment for this course is a 1m x 1m painting with open theme. Students need to ideate, plan, develop and compose their work before using Acrylic to create the paintings.
